Below are some frequently asked questions; if yours is not here, don't hesitate to contact me!
- How do I know you received my invitation/order/frame?
I will contact you via email as soon as I receive your package, and will let you know if I have any questions. If you do not hear back from me within 5 days of shipment, please email me at carol@weddingframedesign.com or go to the "Contact Me" section of the website.
- How do I find out what colors are available?
Each frame is made to order based on the appearance/theme/colors of the invitation received. If you have a preference or would like to request any particular design item (i.e., shells, snowflakes, hearts, a certain color), you can include the instructions on your order form, or let me know when I email you to confirm I got your package.
- How do I know I'll get the frame back in time?
If you place your order at least 3 weeks prior to the event date, that should allow time for custom framing and shipping. If less than 3 weeks is given, you should pay the extra rush charge of $20 and I'll make sure you receive your frame in time. If it's REALLY tight and you'll need overnight shipping, contact me before you send the invitation so we can discuss pricing and make sure it can be done in time.
- How do I ship the invitation?
You can put the invitation in an envelope with cardboard backing to protect it from being bent in the mail. Include a copy of your order form, as well as check or money order payment (if you paid via PayPal, include the confirmation number and date on order form).
- If I have more than one invitation to send, what should I do?
If you want more than one invitation to be framed, contact me to discuss combined shipping. As long as there's enough time (3 weeks or more) until the event, I should have no problem getting all work completed in time.
- Can I pick up my frame if I live close-by to River Edge, NJ?
You are welcome to pick up your frame once it's ready; just let me know on your order form that that's your preference.
- If I want my frame shipped express mail, what should I do?
If you have any special requests, you can contact me via email before you process payment or mail anything. I'll help you figure out the best way to ship based on your needs.
- How do I know the frame will be something I like?
I have a great track record of satisfied clients, and many repeat purchasers. However, if you are not happy with the custom frame you receive, you can email me immediately and I'll work with you to resolve the problem.
- What happens if the frame arrives in damaged condition?
I carefully package all frames to avoid damage; however, there will always be a rare instance where it may happen. If your frame arrives in damaged condition, contact me immediately and I'll work with you to figure out how to best handle the situation, whether it's sending replacement glass, a new frame, or having you ship frame back to me for repairs.
- How can I pay for the frame?
You can send a personal check, cash or money order with your order form and invitation in the mail, or you can pay via PayPal before you send your order.
- What kind of frame will the invitation be put in?
Due to the individual nature of each invitation and design, I will choose a frame that compliments the total piece. I generally use black or white metal frames and will sometimes use wood tone frames in black, brown, white or whitewash. If you have a preference, please indicate it on your order form and I will try to accommodate your request. If no preference is indicated, I will choose the best frame for the item.
- How do I know what size frame to order?
Because each invitation is a different size, shape, etc. I will put each one in a frame that I feel suits it best. I have had great luck in choosing frames that my clients are happy with! The most common size frames used are 10x13, 11x14, 10x10. Again, I will choose a size that fits the frame design and invitation and best compliments it. If you have concerns, indicate them on your order form.
- How do I know how much to pay?
If you're unsure how much your order total will be, please feel free to contact me via email with your details and I'll assist you in placing your order.
- Do you frame other things besides wedding invitations?
Yes, I do! I frame just about anything. Wedding invitations are the most commonly framed item I handle, but I've framed photos, shower invites, anniversary announcements, posters, collectibles and sports memorabilia (including sports jerseys). If you have something to frame, send me an email and I'll get back to you with pricing and details.
